Mindfulness Practice

Mindfulness is the human ability to be fully present, aware of where we are and what we’re doing, and not overly reactive or overwhelmed by what’s going on around us.

In general, we tend to spend too much time regretting the decisions of the past, and fearing the uncertainty of the future. The ability to focus on the present moment is an invaluable tool that is empowering to an individual and their own life’s journey. It also provides the space we need to harness our potential, create realistic expectations, and most importantly find the gratitude for where we are, in this moment.

When we’re mindful, we reduce stress, enhance physical and mental performance, gain insight and awareness through observing our own mind, and increase our attention to others’ well-being.

Mindfulness comes in many forms but may include gratitude practices, present moment awareness breathing techniques, goal setting exercises, cord cutting meditations, life/work balance programming, reading recommendations, self-improvement techniques, and many other tools.
